Which Video Conferencing software package has been tested
with Video Conferencing-to-Go Kit?
MARGI has done some preliminary testing with several Video Conferencing
software packages such as Microsoft NetMeeting,
VDONet VDOPhone,
and CU-SeeMe
Pro.
Can I use Microsoft NetMeeting with both VFW-based and
WDM-based drivers?
Currently our VFW-based driver works with Microsoft NetMeeting (version
3.01) but not the WDM-based driver. Please check with Microsoft's
NetMeeting Zone
from time to time for any updated version.
How can I look up for my current IP address setting?
Your IP address can be located by logging onto the Internet and
run WINIPCFG from the Run command line (from Start). A Dynamic
IP address can change each time you log onto the Internet while
Static IP address does not change.
What are the recommended Video Codec and Video Size to
be used?
Both H.261 and H.263 codecs can be used since both are H.323 compatible.
The Video Size can be set to either QCIF (176x144) or CIF (352x288).
