
Display-to-Go Driver Installation for Windows
98 and 98-SE
- Update the Primary Display Driver to the latest version.
- Ensure the Display-to-Go driver is accessible to the system.
It can be on a floppy disk or a flash card or on a network drive.
- Insert the Display-to-Go card into one ot the PCMCIA sockets.
DO NOT connect the monitor at this point. Windows will display
a message "New Hardware Found" then a diaglog box "Add
New Hardware Wizard", "PCI-VGA Compatible Display Adapter"
is displayed.
- Click "Next" then click "Display a list of all
the drivers..."
- Click "Next" then click "Have Disk..."
- Point to the directory containing the Display-to-Go driver.
A dialog box "Select Device" should be displayed with
"MARGI Systems, Inc. Display-to-Go" highlighted.
- Click "OK" then click "Next". The appropriate
files will be copied from the driver directory.
- A dialog box "Windows has finished installing..."
should be displayed. Click "Finish". Windows will then
indicate it is installing an Unknown Monitor. This is normal.
- From the Control Panel's Display Properties dialog box, click
Settings and enable the second monitor by clicking on it (typically
it is the monitor with the lable "2").
- Plug in the Monitor cable. The "Dispaly-to-Go Monitor Detected"
should be displayed. Click "OK".
- The second Monitor should now display the Windows desktop.
