All Display-to-Go Customers using an Apple Titanium
Problem:
Inserting the Display-to-Go card into an Apple Titanium may cause
the system to stop. Removing the card will allow the system to
function normally.
Resolution:
This problem only appears on Titanium systems. Previous PowerBook
models function correctly when using Mac OS 9.1. Installation
of Mac OS 9.2.1 corrects this problem. There is still an issue
with the "sleep-mode", but a download of our latest
Apple driver, Version 1.08, remedies this issue by disabling the
sleep feature.
Problem:
Monitor flicker with Apple Cinema display use.
Resolution:
Some 22" Cinema Displays will exhibit a monitor flicker when
used with a Display-to-Go 4MB card. If your card exhibits this
behavior, please contact MARGI Tech Support to get information
on how to return your current card and receive a replacement.
Problem:
USB conflict with Display-to-Go.
Resolution:
MARGI has determined that there is a direct conflict between USB
support and dual monitor support on Titanium laptops. The result
of this conflict is that your system may freeze if you are using
a device connected to your Titanium through a USB port at the
same time as you use Display-to-Go. MARGI is working with Apple
on a solution to this problem, but no timetable has been ascertained.
Margi Systems apologizes for any inconvenience these
issues may have caused.
