As Chief Executive Officer, Shrinath Acharya has
led MARGI Systems’ strategic planning efforts and has been
pivotal in obtaining and nurturing OEM customers. He brings
to MARGI more than ten years experience in Software Marketing,
Business Development, Product Management and Software Design
at firms such as Microsoft, Integrated Systems and Sonalysts.
He has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Texas
at Austin and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University
of Pennsylvania. Shrinath co-founded MARGI Systems in 1994.

Shrikant Acharya | President

As Chief Technology Officer, Shrikant Acharya provides
overall direction for the technology and product creation required
to support MARGI Systems’ development strategy. He also
has primary responsibility for establishing strategic relationships
with industry partners and OEM customers. Shrikant has twenty-five
years of experience in the design and development of algorithms
for Image Processing, DSP applications and VLSI design. He was
the principal architect of the ALICE JPEG/MPEG image compression
system, and has served as the Secretary to the ANSI X3L3 Standards
Committee on picture coding. His previous experience includes
work at Widergren Communications, Cirrus Logic, and Telephoto
Communications. He has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from
the University of Texas at Arlington. Shrikant co-founded MARGI
Systems in 1994. . |

John E. Crosbie | Vice President
of Engineering, Co-Founder |

| |
John Crosbie is responsible for the Design and Architecture
of all software and hardware products at MARGI Systems. He
has twenty-five years of experience in computer software and
hardware design, with a primary concentration on high quality
digital audio/video presentation subsystems to expand the
capabilities of commercial and industrial Desktop and Portable
Imaging Systems. His work experience includes Sorrento Valley
Associates and Telephoto Communications where he was Project
Lead for the ALICE JPEG image compression system. John co-founded
MARGI Systems in 1994.

Rich Capen| Vice President of Finance |
|
| |
Rich Capen joined MARGI Systems as
Vice President of Finance in 2002. Rich is responsible for the
company's financial operations including raising capital and
maintaining relationships with investors and the financial community.
Prior to joining MARGI he was a General Partner with Capstone
Ventures in Menlo Park, CA, a venture capital firm investing
in early-stage technology and health care companies. He also
served as an Associate with The Milhous Group, a private equity
firm investing in commercial printing and other manufacturing
industries. Rich holds a BS in Finance from Penn State and an
MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. |
